French cuisine is so artful, elegant, and indulgent. There are not a lot of places to enjoy authentic French cuisine in Houston, but La Villa recently opened, filling this void.
With warm service, an elegant atmosphere, and tasty food, it’s the perfect spot for date night or a special occasion.
Visiting La Villa
If you visit La Villa on a sunny day, you can take a seat at one of their outdoor tables, situated on the sidewalk just as they would be in France. The indoor dining area is a bit more elegant, featuring white walls and tables with cerulean chairs. The food is served on white and pale blue stoneware, further increasing the level of elegance.
The chef, Kevin D’Andrea, was a finalist on Top Chef and has decades of experience creating fine French cuisine. Most of his dishes celebrate the heritage of Southern France and are inspired by his family’s own recipes.
On the Menu
If you visit for dinner, start your meal at La Villa with a starter, such as the seared duck foie gras or the butternut soup. For your entree, the lamb shoulder confit, served with white beans and a lemon confit, is a delectable choice. The roasted sea bass, made with a chive beurre blanc, gnocchi, and sauteed spinach, is another top choice.
La Villa also serves brunch. Their croque monsieur sandwich is to die for, and guests love the truffle
Visit La Villa at 4315 Montrose Boulevard in Houston. They do take reservations. They’re open Tuesday through Saturday for brunch and dinner, and Sundays for brunch only.Back to all posts
